ABOUT BANGLATOOLS

Bangla conversion with verifiable boundaries.

BanglaTools is an independent web utility for moving Bangla text between Unicode and legacy Bijoy ANSI workflows. The product combines browser-local text conversion with an opt-in Go service for editable Office files.

What we build

The main converter supports Unicode to Bijoy, Bijoy to Unicode, Avro Unicode input, SutonnyMJ-compatible output, TXT files, DOCX documents, and XLSX workbooks. PDF and OCR conversion are deliberately excluded because reliable editable reconstruction cannot be guaranteed.

How reliability is evaluated

Browser and Go implementations share tested Bangla samples covering conjuncts, pre-kars, reph, nukta forms, punctuation, digits, and round trips. Office tests inspect the underlying OOXML package to confirm formulas, styles, tables, and document structure remain present.

Editorial and technical responsibility

BanglaTools publishes its own compatibility claims, privacy boundaries, limitations, change dates, and source references. Product statements are based on implemented behavior and tests, not on sponsorship, professional certification, or unverifiable accuracy percentages.

Primary technical references

Conversion and document-handling explanations reference the Unicode Consortium’s Bengali specification, OmicronLab’s Avro documentation, and Microsoft’s Open XML documentation.
