Three input modes
Use Avro phonetic for Banglish, Unijoy for a fixed layout, or the Unicode Bangla keyboard installed on your device.
Type Bengali with English letters and get editable Bangla Unicode instantly. Use Avro phonetic, Unijoy or your installed keyboard, then copy, share or download the finished text.
Avro mode converts phonetic English key sequences while you type. This is transliteration, not automatic translation.
Select Avro phonetic, then type the Bengali pronunciation using English letters. The editor turns those keystrokes into standard Bengali Unicode immediately. For an existing Bangla keyboard, choose System keyboard instead.
Avro phonetic বেছে নিয়ে ইংরেজি অক্ষরে বাংলা উচ্চারণ লিখুন। লেখাটি সঙ্গে সঙ্গে Unicode বাংলায় দেখা যাবে।
The editor covers the actions people repeatedly use after typing: revising, recovering a draft, importing a document and moving the text elsewhere.
Use Avro phonetic for Banglish, Unijoy for a fixed layout, or the Unicode Bangla keyboard installed on your device.
Your current draft is autosaved in the same browser so an accidental refresh does not erase the document.
Import TXT or DOCX text, find and replace repeated terms, then copy, share or download UTF-8 text.
Typing, document reading and draft storage happen locally. The editor does not require an account or text upload.
Start with short phonetic words, check the Bengali result, and correct any spelling that does not match the pronunciation you intended.
Use Avro phonetic for English-letter input. Select Unijoy or System only when you know that keyboard layout.
Write Bengali pronunciation with English letters. Spaces and punctuation separate words and reset the phonetic sequence.
Read the Bengali text, edit names or uncommon words manually, then copy, share or download it.
Exact key sequences can vary by phonetic convention. These examples show the intent: entering Bengali pronunciation with a Latin keyboard rather than translating an English sentence.
Choosing the correct tool prevents unwanted changes to names, meaning and sentence structure.
You choose the Bengali words and type their pronunciation with English letters. The output changes script but keeps your wording.
ami bangla likhi → আমি বাংলা লিখিA translation system interprets an English sentence and rewrites its meaning in Bengali. Results require a separate translation model.

Select Avro phonetic and type Bengali words with English letters. For example, common phonetic sequences such as ‘ami’ and ‘bangla’ are converted into Bengali Unicode as you type. You can edit, copy or download the result.
No. Phonetic typing changes the script while keeping the words you intended to write. Translation changes the language and meaning. Typing ‘ami banglay likhi’ is transliteration; translating an English sentence into Bengali is a different task.
Banglish typing means writing Bengali pronunciation with Latin or English letters, such as ‘apni kemon achen’. A phonetic input method converts those key sequences into Bengali script.
No installation is required for Avro phonetic or Unijoy mode. The output is standard Bengali Unicode and works with modern browsers, documents and social platforms that support Bengali text.
If your device already has a Unicode-compatible Bijoy keyboard, choose System keyboard and type with it. Unijoy is included as a browser input mode, but it is not a replacement for every commercial Bijoy setup.
Yes. Avro phonetic works with a hardware or on-screen English keyboard. You can also choose System keyboard and use the Bengali keyboard already installed on Android or iPhone.
The editor works in your browser. Its autosaved draft is stored locally on that browser, and imported TXT or DOCX content is read locally. Clear the editor to remove the saved draft.
Yes. You can import plain-text TXT files and editable text from DOCX files, then copy, share or download the current document as a UTF-8 TXT file.
