After-fee calculator
Enter a list price and see the creator payout plus the exact whole-Robux amount assigned to the fee.
Calculate how much Robux you keep from a sale or the minimum whole-Robux price needed to reach a target. Start with a documented 30% or 40% scenario, then adjust the fee for the transaction you are actually making.
Choose the revenue-share scenario first. A 30% fee fits your own standard in-experience pass or developer-product sale; a pass sold inside another creator's experience can leave the original creator 60%, which is the useful 40% preset for many donation-stand sales.
The estimate runs locally. No amount is uploaded or saved.
For standard Robux purchases of your own passes and developer products in your experience, Roblox documents a 70% creator share and a 30% Marketplace Fee. That does not make 30% universal: another creator's pass sold inside an experience can leave the original creator 60%, while Avatar Marketplace commissions can use different and progressive shares. Use the preset that matches the sale, or enter a verified custom rate.
The useful answer is not only what remains after a fee, but also the smallest valid listing price that protects a payout target.
Enter a list price and see the creator payout plus the exact whole-Robux amount assigned to the fee.
Enter the payout you want and get the minimum list price whose rounded creator share still reaches that target.
Switch between the 30% own-experience model, a 40% third-party experience model, or a custom verified rate.
Compare common prices from 100 to 10,000 Robux and copy a plain-English result for your notes.
Three choices determine the result: what number you already know, which sale path applies, and whether the official share for that path has changed.
Use List price when you know what the buyer pays. Use Target earnings when you know how many Robux the creator needs to receive.
Select 30% for a standard sale of your own pass or developer product in your experience. Use 40% only when the original creator receives 60%, such as another creator's pass sold inside an experience.
After-fee results round down to a whole Robux. Reverse results round the list price up until the calculated payout reaches the target.
Avatar items, Limiteds, affiliates, publishing advances, regional pricing and future policy changes can use a different share. Confirm the current official rule before using a custom rate.
The player term “Robux tax” usually means a Roblox platform fee or revenue split. This tool does not calculate income tax, DevEx cash value, purchase taxes on Robux packages, publishing advances, regional price optimization, refunds or legal obligations. It is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.
These Roblox Creator Hub pages support the default scenarios and explain why Avatar Marketplace, affiliate and subscriber cases should not be forced into one flat percentage.

For a standard sale of your own pass or developer product in your experience, Roblox documents a 30% Marketplace Fee and a 70% creator share. Other paths can split the sale differently, so 30% is not universal.
For the standard 30% model, multiply the list price by 0.70 and round down to a whole Robux. A 1,000 Robux list price therefore produces a 700 Robux estimate.
Divide the target by the creator share, then round up and verify the rounded payout. To receive 1,000 Robux at a 70% share, the minimum list price is 1,429 Robux.
Your own pass sold in your experience normally uses the documented 70% creator share. If another creator's pass is sold inside an experience, Roblox documents a 60% share for the original creator and a 10% affiliate share for the experience owner.
Donation experiences commonly sell a pass created by the recipient inside someone else's experience. The official cross-creator example leaves 60% for the original pass creator, so the 40% preset is a useful estimate. Verify the actual transaction path and displayed earnings.
A payout from existing group funds is different from the sale that created those funds. Use this calculator for the original sale fee; review the group's transaction record before assuming another deduction applies to distribution.
Roblox can hold eligible sales earnings before they become spendable. The holding period and transaction status depend on the product and current policy, so check My Transactions or Creator Dashboard rather than treating this estimate as an availability date.
For eligible discounted purchases, Roblox states that it subsidizes the Plus discount so the creator receives the same stated earnings as for a non-subscriber purchase. Do not lower the creator share merely because the buyer sees a Plus discount.
