Six genuinely different presets
Each preset changes its combining-mark collection, direction balance and density—not merely the example text.
Create corrupted, distorted and Zalgo-style text with six distinct Unicode effects. Choose Mobile Safe or Full Chaos, tune each direction, clean pasted marks and copy the result.
Enter a short message or gaming tag and start with Light Static, Classic Zalgo, Top Storm, Downward Drip, Scanline Error or Max Chaos. The output stays stable until you deliberately shuffle it.
Everything runs locally in your browser.
Glitch text is ordinary text with Unicode combining marks layered above, through or below each character. The marks create a corrupted, broken or creepy appearance while the underlying letters remain in the string. It is a visual text effect—not hacking, animation or a downloadable font—and different apps may clip, filter or rearrange heavy output.
The generator turns six visual directions into understandable presets, protects Bengali shaping by default and prevents one short phrase from expanding without limit.
Each preset changes its combining-mark collection, direction balance and density—not merely the example text.
Mobile Safe limits per-direction density, total marks and output length; Full Chaos leaves room for the strongest effect.
Open Advanced controls to set Above, Through and Below separately from zero to six.
Switch to Cleaner to remove marks from pasted Zalgo text, review the normalized result and copy it separately.
Start with a visual preset, then adjust only what matters. Keep the destination app and readability in mind before choosing a heavy result.
Light Static stays restrained, Top Storm rises, Downward Drip falls, Scanline Error crosses letters and Max Chaos fills every direction.
Mobile Safe reduces density and length for better compatibility. Full Chaos allows heavier output but does not guarantee acceptance by any app.
Set the height, crossing density and lower drip independently, or use the simple direction buttons to turn an axis on or off.
Paste corrupted text into the Cleaner tab to remove this tool's mark set. Legitimate accents may use matching marks, so always review the cleaned result.
Combining marks are valid Unicode, but a website or game may reject them, limit length, normalize the string or display overlapping lines. Search, screen readers and moderation systems may also interpret the characters differently. Use a light effect for names, keep important information in normal text and never use distorted characters to impersonate someone or bypass platform rules.
These public standards explain the marks, normalization and browser copy feature used by the generator.

Zalgo text is a popular name for ordinary characters surrounded by many Unicode combining marks. The marks create the stretched, corrupted appearance above and below a line.
Type a short phrase and choose one of the six visual presets. Keep Mobile Safe for a lighter result, or tune the overall and per-direction levels before copying.
It adds combining Unicode marks after visible characters. Fonts normally position those marks around the preceding letter, producing the distorted effect without converting the text into an image.
Sometimes. Support, filters and length limits vary by service and field. Start with Mobile Safe, paste a short test and follow the destination platform's rules.
Minecraft versions, servers, commands and text fields handle Unicode differently. This browser output may be filtered or clipped and is not the same as Minecraft formatting codes. Test it only where the server permits it.
Open the Cleaner tab and paste the corrupted text. It removes the combining characters used by this generator and shows a separate cleaned result. Because the same marks can be legitimate accents, review it instead of treating cleaning as lossless.
Combining marks occupy visual space around a base character without behaving like separate letters. Dense marks and small line height can therefore clip or overlap. Use Mobile Safe or lower the relevant Above or Below level.
Generation happens locally and the text is not uploaded by this tool. The output is still decorative Unicode: use it responsibly, avoid important information and do not use it to evade platform moderation or impersonate others.
